Fancy That Antiques Beautiful jewelry for every style and budget!

Charity Jewelry Drive

When I buy jewelry from neighbors here in Mass I donate what I don’t sell to the following charity:

Juvenile Hall Auxiliary of Contra Costa County, The Hall Closet Thrift Store in Martinez, CA
This charity sells jewelry and other items to take care of the teenagers in the program. Many of them don’t have loving parents or anyone to do things for them without any expectation. Many are from single household or raised by their grandmothers. It is sad to hear about
their stories. A big portion of the money from the thrift store is for scholarships for the kids to go to college or job training for a trade so that they won’t go back to their previous lifestyle.
Every year the volunteers prepare Christmas backpacks for the kids with all kinds of goodies and “luxury” items like
some costume jewelry for the girls and new socks & underwear for the boys. They also prepare “food” baskets for their families at Thanksgiving with turkeys and trimmings from the money the volunteers make at The Hall Closet.

If you choose to send jewelry, here is their site and physical address:

Address:
202 Glacier Dr.
Martinez, CA 94553
Phone:
(925) 957-2718 (office)
Email: admin@jhacccc.org

Esther can also send you tax deductible receipts.
